Coffee Morning for Barnardo's
Over £2,000 was raised for Barnardo's, Boughton Hall's adopted charity, during 2011 and the fund-raising continues with the first of a series of coffee mornings on Thursday, 1st March. A selection of delicious home-made cakes will be on offer, to take home or enjoy with a cup of coffee whilst chatting to friends, staff and Boughton Hall residents. A raffle will also be held to further boost the charity's funds.

Perfect Pancakes
Pancake Day last year saw around 40 people tucking into a proliferation of perfect pancakes created by Boughton Hall's chef John Crawley. John is hoping for a repeat performance this year and will offer up another array of this traditional Lenten fare - both sweet and savoury - on Tuesday, 21st February, between 12 and 2pm.

Want to change your image?
Colour Me Beautiful, recognised leaders in personal and corporate image consulting, are paying another visit to Boughton Hall. On Wednesday, 7th March, trained consultant and beauty therapist Sandra Bradley will demonstrate how colours can be used to an individual's best advantage to optimise and complement - or even change - their image.
Established in 1983, Colour Me Beautiful have advised over a million clients, both women and men of all shapes, sizes and ages, on how to achieve their perfect look.

Afternoon Talk - 2
The second of this year's afternoon talks on various subjects of general interest will be held on Thursday, 22ndMarch, starting at 2.30pm. The topic and guest speaker have yet to be confirmed, so please check this website for more details nearer the time.

Pampered Chef Cookery Demonstration
Following the success of two similar events held last year, Pampered Chef will be coming to Boughton Hall to give another cookery demonstration on Thursday, 12th April, at 3pm.
Participants will get the opportunity to sample the dishes - usually one savoury and one sweet - prepared by the company's attending consultant, ask questions and purchase kitchenware and cookery equipment from Pampered Chef's extensive range.

Coffee Morning for Barnardo's
Our regular coffee mornings continue on Saturday, 28th April, when there will again be some mouth-watering home-made cakes available to buy. Please come along between 10am and 1pm. A raffle is usually also held, the proceeds of which are added to funds raised by the cake sale and donated to Barnardo's.

Cream Tea
With summer just around the corner (hopefully!), come and join us on the patio at Boughton Hall, behind the stunning Garden Room Restaurant, for a delicious cream tea. Last year's tea was held on a hot sunny day, albeit a month later in June, but May's weather is often very pleasant without the risk of a fierce summer sun. Although the artiste has yet to be confirmed, there will be some live music to accompany the scones.

Cheese and Wine Afternoon
A new addition to Boughton Hall's social calendar is a Cheese and Wine Afternoon to be held on Thursday, 31st May, from 4pm. Come along for a sociable get-together with Boughton Hall's apartment owners whilst sampling the wines and cheeses on offer.

More Pampering
We started the new year with a Pamper Day for mothers and daughters, a welcome treat after the hustle and bustle of the festive period. But who needs an excuse to indulge in a little pampering? So, we are holding a similar event on Friday, 15th June, from 10.00am to 3.00pm.
