Retirement village service charge and other costs

Everybody living at Boughton Hall contributes to a service charge fund, which enables you to live life to the full, leaving the everyday stresses of home ownership to us. A full breakdown is available from the sales team.

All service charge monies, including the reserve fund referred to below, are given trust protection under Section 42 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987.

Property

  • External buildings maintenance
  • Reserve fund – a proportion of the service charges paid by apartment owners is accumulated in a reserve fund to cover future capital works (buildings repair and renewal, etc)
  • Buildings insurance
  • Refuse collection

Communal facilities

  • Garden Room restaurant
