Pamper Afternoon

Come and joine Rebecca Jayne at 2 o'clock on 27th March for a Pamper Afternoon. This will be a fun-filled taster of treatments provided by Rebecca Jayne Beauty, with discounts available. An afternoon at Boughton Hall wouldn't, of course, be complete without tea and delicious home-made cakes, so there will be plenty of these on offer.

This session precedes a regular visit by Rebecca Jayne who will be at Boughton Hall on the first and last Tuesday of the month, starting on 3rd April, to offer Owners further tailored pampering.

Charity Cake Sale

Boughton Hall's Cake Bake this year will be raising money for the very worthwhile charity, Breast Cancer Research. Both Boughton Hall Apartment Owners and staff will be baking an array of delicious cakes and pastries which will be on sale during the coffee morning on Wednesday, 28th March, at 10.30am.

Everyone is invited.

Creating an Advance Care Plan

Are your later life wishes known?

Chris McCormack from the Helix Centre will be visiting Boughton Hall to talk about how his work can assist and encourage older people to create Advance Care Plans and facilitate conversations about their personal wishes and end-of-life care, something which can be difficult to discuss with loved ones.

Chris will be with us at 11am on Thursday, 12th April, to show you how plans can be created and communicated to those who need to know your wishes. He would love to hear your thoughts, ideas and recommendations over complimentary coffee and cake, and invites you to join him in the Library for an informal information session.

Numbers are limited, so if you wish to attend, please register your interest in the Management Suite.

The Helix Centre is a digital health innovation lab founded by Imperial Cllege London and the Royal College of Art and based at St Mary's Hospital in London.

Trip to China's First Emperor

Duty Manager Michael is organising a coach trip on Thursday, 10th May, to see the amazing exhibition at the World Museum in Liverpool, China's First Emperor and the Terracotta Warriors.

For over 2,000 years, an underground army of life-sized terracotta warriors secretly guarded the tomb of China’s First Emperor, Qin Shi Huang, until a chance discovery in 1974 unlocked the mysteries of a vanished empire. The exhibition will include a number of objects that have never been on show in the UK before, including material from museums and institutes from across Shaanxi Province, excavated over the last 40 years from the Imperial Mausoleum and selected tombs.

20 Apartment Owners have already signed up for this day out; if you would also like to go, please speak to Michael or one of the team.
